4x-7=25
you add 7 to both sides
4x-7+7=25+7
4x=32
Divide both sides by 4.
4x/4 = 32/4
answer: 8

X=8 you get this answer by adding 7 to 25 which equals 32 and then you divide 32 by 4 and that equals 8
