Is there a connection between art and literature? Question 2 options:

Yes, you cannot have one without the other
No, the exist in completely different worlds.
No, art is a physical demonstration of idea while literature only uses words. Yes, art often inspires authors and authors often inspire artists.

Definitely the last one! Literature is sometimes considered art, and art can be inspired by pieces of literature. Check out Salvidor Dali's "Mad Tea Party" for instance" which was inspired by "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" it's a great example of how art and literature can influence each other.

I would say D.) "Yes, art often inspired authors and authors often inspire artists.

My reasoning: When I was younger, I had a boyfriend whom was a musician, I myself am an artist. Whenever I presented a new canvas to him he would tell me that it inspired him to write more songs and vice versa. His music inspired me to draw up album covers for some local bands.
