Answer: A. fault-block mountains

Fault-block mountains are created along divergent boundaries. They result from the movement of large blocks of crust as they pull apart. Wherever this movement occurs, earthquakes happen. This results in some parts of the Earth being pushed upward and others collapsing down, and over a long period of time, mountains are formed.
