In mathematical form. you can write it as:
73 = 2 ( l + 11)

We can solve it for length,
73 = 2l + 22
2l = 73 - 22
l = 51/2
l = 25.5

Hope this helps!

Answer:

2(L + 11) = 73

Explanation:

The perimeter of a rectangle is 73 inches.

Perimeter = 2(Length + Width)

given Length = L

given width = 11 inches

So the equation to represent the word problem would be

2(L + 11) = 73

2L + 22 = 73

2L = 73 - 22

2L = 51

L =
(51)/(2)

L = 25.5

Length would be 25.5 inches
