SUMMARIZE!!!!!!!!!!!

Gone, gone,—sold and gone,
To the rice-swamp dank and lone.
O, when weary, sad, and slow,
From the fields at night they go,
Faint with toil, and racked with pain,
To their cheerless homes again,
There no brother’s voice shall greet them;
There no father’s welcome meet them.

This piece represents a hard worker who works hour on end. The first four lines represent where he has to work and how he feels about it. The next two lines represent his distraught and his exhaustion. Then, after that on the last three lines, it shows that the people who have to work like this have no one to help them get through the hard times.
