One year, the number of subscribers for newspapers A was 7,600, and the number of subscribers for newspapers B was 3/4 of the number of subscribers for newspapers A. The next year, the number of subscribers for newspapers B increased by 25%. Find the total number of subscribers for newspapers B the next year.

The answer is 3000 subscribers i believe

I believe the answer is 7,600, because 1/4 is equal to 25%, so if the number of subscribers for newspapers B is 3/4 the amount of subscribers of newspapers A, that means newspapers B had 75% of the amount of subscribers newspapers A had. Then they gained 25% of the amount of subscribers newspapers A had, that means that now they have 100% of the amount of subscribers newspaper A had. So now they have 7,600 subscribers.
