There Are Only Alike, In The Sense That Both Lead to the Creation of new offspring from parents

They both lead to a birth of a new organism but they are different in that sexual reproduction requires two parents and asexual only requires one. Asexual offspring look EXACTLY like the parent. While sexual offspring are a mix between the DNA of the mother and father
