2. Safety from Solar winds: Every day huge amount of charged particles in the form of Solar winds is ejected out of the Sun and travels towards Earth and other planets. If they enter into our atmosphere we will have a complete blackout. Any system that works on electricity would fail. The magnetic field of Earth diverts the solar winds and thus saves us.
