to know the equation represents the relationship of x and y
first solve the slope of the relationshipm = ( y1 - y2) / ( x1 - x2 )m = ( 95 - 110) / ( 1 - 2 )m = 15
using point ( 1 , 95 ) solve the y intercept
y = mx + b
95 = 1(15) + bb = 95 - 15b = 80 and this represents her fixed salary
so the equation is
y = 15x + 80
