In my class we're working with inequalities. I understand the overall concept and have worked through most of the problems, but I'm unsure as to how I'm supposed to approach this one...If it was a -3(x-1) then I wouldn't have a problem, the distribution rule would help me out; but, since it's 3-(x-1), how would I approach this? Would I swap the negative/subtraction symbols to make them positive/addition? Or would I use the subtraction sign as an invisible (-1) in order to make the equation -x+1?
