. What did the Spanish flu have in common with H5N1? What is different?

Both illnesses present themselves with a typical flu symptoms ( fatigue,, fever, soreness, etc). These symptoms manifest slower in H5N1 than they did in the Spanish Flue, and the Spanish Flu was more deadly.
