what is the speed of a fish that swims 10 meters in a total of 20 seconds? what would you do to figure this out

You use the formula

Speed = (distance covered)
divided by
(time to cover the distance) .

After posting so many speed/distance/time problems and getting the answers
with the full solutions, you should be be able to do these on your own by now.

Here, Speed = Distance / Time
We have; d = 10 m
t = 20 s

Substitute their values,
s = 10 / 20
s = 1/2
s = 0.5 m/s

In short, Your Answer would be 0.5 m/s
