Select all that apply. Which of the following are correctly punctuated? The Scarlet Letter was, for a long time, considered by many (outside of the country) the only "classic" of American fiction. I personally feel that the poem "The Nightingale" is the best poem in the entire volume of Lyrical Ballads. Once and for all, I think that the computer has finally received it's due. Every time—and I do mean every time—I finally get to work, my boss interrupts me. This is my problem with "The Raven": It relies too heavily on the repetition of "-ing" and rolling syllables. This nothing has received much-ado.

Answer:

  • Once and for all, I think that the computer has finally received it's due.
  • Every time—and I do mean every time—I finally get to work, my boss interrupts me.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the phrase "Once and for all, I think that the computer has finally received it's due" the comma was used correctly to separate the time represented by "Once and for all".

In the phrase "Every time-and I do mean every time-I finally get to work, my boss interrupts me." The dash was used correctly to separate the explanatory expression "and I do mean every time".
