4x + 2y = 8

2y = -4x +8

2y/2 = -4x/2 + 8/2

y = -2x + 4

Comparing to y = mx + c, where m = slope.

Slope m = -2.

Slope = -2

Hope this helped.

that is the answer ,

The slope-intercept form is y=mx+b y = m ⁢ x + b , where m m is the slope and b b is the y-intercept. Since 4x 4 ⁢ x does not contain the variable to solve for, move it to the right side of the equation by subtracting 4x 4 ⁢ x from both sides. Divide each term by −2 - 2 and simplify.
