I need help to design an experiment to support the hypothesis that light travels in straight lines except at the point it enters a new medium.

a) What can I use for this experiment?
b) How do I use it to complete this experiment? How can I conduct an experiment using it?

get a flashlight a glass. have someone hold the flashlight and point it on the glass while you hold it. now take a cup of water and put the light on the bottom of the glass while you hold it up then pour the water out . it should work
