We just test each option.

A. x = 11, y = 1

(x + 3)y = 14

(7 + 3)*2

10*2

20 = 14 This is not correct, so the option is wrong.



B. x = 11, y = 1

(x + 3)y = 14

(11 + 3)*1

14*1

14 = 14 This is correct, so the option is the correct.

So option B is the correct one. No need to test the other options.
