4x = 2/3
4/4x = 2/3 / 4
x = (2/3) (1/4)
x = 1/6
Hope this helps!

First get rid of the 3, so multiply 3 by 4x, leaving just the 2 on the other side. Then you have 12x=2. Divide 12 by 2 and you have x=6
