F(x)=x^2 is vertically stretched by a factor of 2 and translated by 3 units left to create g(x). What does g(x)= ?

g(x)=-2(x+3)^2

The -2 in front is the vertical stretch.

Also, because it is going 3 units to the left, you have to put the 3 on the inside and because it is left you do the opposite and it is +3.
