There are 3 feet in one yard, which means that the dimensions of the floor is 3 yards x 2 yards. In order to find the area, we must multiply the length by the width. Therefore the area of the floor is 6 square yards.

6 square yards. L x W, gives you 54 but that's in feet. you have to convert it into square yards giving you 6 square yards
