To solve this problem, you want to get x alone on one side of the inequality. To do this, add 35 to both sides.

x-35>15
+35 +35

x>50

To check your work, plug anything greater than 50 into the inequality.

For example:

If x=55
55-35>15
20>15

x>50

So first you do -35 plus 35 = 0 then you crossed out that part then you do 15 plus 35 because you add -35 to 35 that why. so 15 plus 35 = 50. then think that the X is 1 so you divide 1 by 50 equal 50
The answer is so x is greater than 50
