I believe the answer is: more anxious and reactive

For infants prior to 2 years old of age, it is almost undavoidable tha they have to be extremely attached to their primary caretakers as a form of survival mechanism.
If the intervention is made after the infants became agitated, the infants would perceived that their primary caretakers had abandoned them, which make them become a lot more anxiousl
