Answer: [-4, 0] which is choice A

=====================================================

Reason:

lowest point is when y = -4

highest point is when y = 0

The range is any value of y between these values, including the endpoints themselves. We say the range is
-4 \le y \le 0 which condenses to the interval notation [-4, 0]

Use square brackets to include the endpoints.

If there were open holes at the highest and lowest points, then we would use curved parenthesis instead.
