In what ways did americans react to changes in american society in the years after world war i?

We see the beginning of civil rights taking place.
Some African Americans that went over in the war, actual stayed their, or went back to France. The French were more open about race.
Women got a sense of freedom and wanted to maintain that freedom. Women got the right to vote in 1920. The roaring twenties, saw women cutting their hairs in the bobbish look. Becoming flappers.
