Tara has 2 bags of marbles. The first bag contains 6 red marbles,5 blue marbles and 4 green marbles.The second bag contains 3 red marbles,2 blue marbles, and 4 green marbles.Tara will randomly select 1 marble from each bag.What is the probability that Tara will select a blue marble from each bag?

Answer: Tara will have a 2/27 probability of choosing a blue marble from each bag

solution: First, we need to find the probability for the first bag using (p= number of outcomes/ total of outcomes), the number of outcomes is 5, and the total is 15, so our probability for bag 1 is 5/15.

Then, for the second bag, the number of outcomes is 2, and the total is 9, so the probability for the second bag is 2/9

To find the probability for both of the bags, we have to multiply them: 5/15 × 2/9= 10/135=2/27
