If you answer 110 questions and get a 94% how many did you get wrong

STEP 1:
Set up a ratio.

x= number correct out of 110

x/110= 94/100
cross multiply

(x * 100)= (110 * 94)
100x= 10,340

divide both sides by 100
x= 103.4


STEP 2:
subtract number correct in step 1 from total number of questions

=110 - 103.4
=6.6 questions wrong


ANSWER: There were exactly 6.6 questions wrong on the test. Since you cannot have a partial question (unless otherwise stated), but only whole questions, round up to 7 whole questions wrong.
