Make an equation 130=x+135 then subtract 135 from 130 which would leave x alone on the right 130-135=-5 so x=-5

My apologies. the image loaded with an error that made it appear as there was an additional parallel line. after reviewing the image online I can see that the 2 given angles are in fact alternate interior angles. By theorem these are congruent meaning they have equal measures. be abuse of this we can set them equal and solve for x.
130=x+135 and subtracting 135 from both sides gives us
130-135=x-0
x=-5
