Hi there!
j is 7 times greater than 6.
When j is 7 times greater than a number, we get the following equation:
j / 7 = 6
Multiply both sides by 7.
j = 42

j is 7 times greater than 6
"j is" = "j = "
"7 times greater than 6" = "7 x 6"
j = 7 x 6
7 x 6 = 42
j = 42
hope this helps
