Answer:

1. 5g² - 7g + 4 =0

2. Already in standard form. a= 9, b = 1, c =8

3. 12x² -14x -11 = 0

Explanation:

Standard form of a quadratic is ax² + bx + c = 0

where a, b and c are constants

#1: 7g - g² = 4

Subtract 4 on both sides:
7g - g² -4 = 0

Rearrange
-g² + 7g - 4 = 0

Multiply both sides by -1

g² - 7g + 4 = 0

#3

2(3x-5) = 6x - 10

Equation becomes

6x - 10 = 1/(2x + 1)

Multiply both sides by 2x + 1

(6x - 10)(2x + 1) = 1

12x² - 20x + 6x - 10 = 1 multiplying LHS terms using FOIL

Subtract 1 from both sides

12x² (-20x + 6x) -10 - 1 =0

12x² - 14x - 11 = 0

The standard quadratic form is
ax^(2)+bx+c=0

(1) and (3) is the attachment!

(2)
9d^(2)+d+8=0
Comparing with the standard form ,
a = 9 , b = 1 , c = 8
