Answer:

Sanitary inspection

Step-by-step explanation:

For health reasons it was forbidden for a third-class passenger to have contact with any first-class passenger, even with the rigorous sanitary inspection process they underwent prior to boarding, but the barriers between first and second class were more flexible

The first class was on the upper decks and the central part of the ship where the rocking and noise were almost imperceptible, the second class was on the edges of the decks and the third class on the edges where the noise was more evident.

Third-class passengers were mostly immigrants in search of a new life in America, a very lucrative business niche at the time that White Star Line intended to serve with its new ships. When the inaugural voyage of the Titanic was announced it became the passenger dream of consumption, after all a third class ticket included all meals and leisure options, a different reality from the life of these passengers.
