Cervix is located at the lower part of the uterus connected to the vagina. Cervical cancer can be treated when found at an early stage through a Pap smear. Cervical cancer happens when abnormal cells are growing out of control. Some examples of symptoms that should prompt professional care are abnormal vaginal bleeding and pain in the pelvis and during urination.
