The carbon-hydrogen bond (C-H bond) is a chemical bond between carbon and hydrogen atoms that can be found in many organic compounds.Carbon and hydrogen can form either hydrocarbon chains or rings.
Carbon-Hydrogen?
• Any of the organic chemical compounds of the hydrocarbon class, which only include the atoms carbon
(C) and hydrogen (H) The three fundamental elements that plants require in the greatest proportions are hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen.
• These three elements serve as the building blocks for plant growth.
• The fact that H atoms are present in almost all organic substances helps to explain why plants require the H they obtain from water molecules during photosynthesis.
• In biology, the secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structures of proteins and nucleic acids are in part a result of intramolecular hydrogen bonding.
