This structure isn’t matched well with its function: epididymis: produce sperm.

The epididymis is a structure which lies within the scrotum and is attached to the back side of the testis. Its function is to storage spermatozoa while they mature. After that, it transports the spermatozoa between the testis and the tube connecting the testes with the urethra.
