Near a stream's source, a stream erodes a piece of rock from its streambed. as the rock is carried down the stream, how will its size and shape change? explain

The rock will most likely become smaller, round, and smooth. As the stream carries the rock down the stream, other rocks will slowly make the rock smoother by hitting against it constantly.
