Factor 6a+8b using the greatest common factor

Hello!

First you have to find the greatest common factor of 6 and 8

The greatest common factor is 2

You divide the who expression by 2


(6a+8b)/(2) =3a + 4b

Put your answer is parenthesis and what you divide by outside of the parenthesis

2(3a + 4b)

The answer is 2(3a + 4b)
