Hoi!

To multiply two fractions, all you have to do is multiply the numerators and the denominators.

25/33 * 11/50

Numerators: 25 * 11
Denominators: 33 * 50

The initial answer is 275/1650, but these fractions both have a common factor, which is 25. (This is not the only common factor)

275/25 = 11 (I'm using a slash to indicate division)
1650/25 = 66

The new simplified fraction is 11/66, but both of these fractions still have a common factor, which is 11.

11/11 = 1
66/11 = 6

Your final answer is 1/6

(25)/(33) * (11)/(50)

= (1)/(3) * (1)/(2)

= (1)/(6)
