(I wrote this poem myself on an extra credit assignment!)
His Love
You have come across lovers that pursue,
Everyday leading to the end of time.
My request is for you to carry through,
As I prove my pure love of this lifetime.
Many say you are the light to my eyes,
Your touch truly as soft as a mccoy.
To me you are a goddess in disguise,
Your smile brighter than one of a small boy.
But come closer as I tell you one thing,
I will sacrifice all to have your heart.
For my love is not for our wedding ring,
And it does not mean our hearts will part.
You laugh when I say you love me a lot,
Watch as I prove this is not just my thought.
