-when Ksp is the solubility product constant for a solid substance when it

dissolved in the solution. and measure how a solute dissolves in the solution.

- and when the solubility is the maximum quantity of solute which can dissolve in a certain solution.

So Ksp expression = [Mg][F]^2

when Ksp = 8.4 x 10^-8

[F] = 0.42

by substitution:

∴8.4 x 10^-8 = [Mg+] * (0.42)^2

∴[Mg+] = 4.8 x 10^-7 M

∴the solubility of MgF2 = 4.8 x 10^-7
