Combine like terms

87 + 3(x + 2) = 180

Subtract 87 from both sides

3(x + 2) = 93

Distribute the 3

3x + 6 = 93

Subtract 6 from both sides

3x = 87

Divide both sides by 3

x = 29

Now we put it into the equation to find angle C

3(29 + 2)

Do what is in paraenthesis

3(31)

Multiply

93

The answer is A is 29
The answer is B is 93
