The correct answer is A.
The three basic verb sentences are present, past and future. The simple present tense verbs are used to show actions that happen on regular basis or that happen all the time. The simple past tense shows actions that occurred in the past while the simple future verb tense are used to express actions that have not taken place but which will take place in the future.
