Lisa runs 10 miles in 75 minutes. At the same rate, how many miles would she run in 69 minutes?

I would set this up as a ratio:

(10)/(75) = (x)/(69)

From here on, you solve for x. To do so, you can cross multiply:

690=75x

x = (690)/(75) = 9.2

So, Lisa can run 9.2 miles in 69 minutes.
