1. frequency is how much time it takes for a certain amount of waves to pass a certain point

2. wavelength is the distance from crest to crest or trough to trough, while amplitude is the distance from the top and bottom of the wavelength.

3. any wave that is not a mechanical wave, such as light waves and possibly electromagnetic waves if I'm not mistaken.
