What is the slope of the line with the equation 25 = 5y - 7x?

You need to get the equation down to
y = mx + b where m is the slope.

Put 7x on the left hand side.
7x + 25 = 5y

Divide by 5
7x / 5 + 25 = 5y

1.4x + 5 = y

the slope is whatever is in front of the x.
Slope = 1.4 <<<<< answer
Your instructor may want it as an improper fraction
7/5 = slope <<<<< answer
