It's good that you're thinking about your future. To prepare for your future job, I think that you should start NOW. To assure that you will do your job to your best ability, you should start training yourself right now. I know your thinking, "I'm not a dog," but whether you know it or not, your mind can be trained.
Here are a few habits that you can form now to help you in the future:
Good Habits:
→Going to bed on time (Staying up late is never a good thing because it could lead to you being late for work, or fatigued the next day.)
→Learning to manage your time (You cannot replace wasted time, and since some of your tasks may be time-sensitive, you need to learn how to manage your time.)
→Don't be lazy, even if you're at home (This is a bad habit that most people have picked up. Laziness can get you into a lot of trouble because usually bosses don't take minimum effort.)
→Try to stick to a routine (Even though some people like change, trying new things can lead to a lot of failure. If you do try something new, make sure that you think of EVERY possible outcome.)
The moral I'm trying to get to you is: Build good habits and get rid of the bad ones.
