Activated cytotoxict cells (t lymphocytes) __________. flag cells for destruction by macrophages differentiate into plasma cells that secrete antibodies bind to antigens that are presented by special proteins that occur on membranes of eukaryotic cells flag cells for destruction by megakaryocytes attack foreign cells directly by binding to an antigen-bearing cell, secreting proteins that perforate the foreign cell's membrane, and signaling the cell to undergo apoptosis.

Activated cytotoxic cells (t lymphocytes) flags cells for destruction by macrophages. Ctotoxic t cells are the most important cells in the adaptive immunity, since they are required for almost all adaptive immune responses. They help activate B cells to secrete abtibodies and macrophages to destroy ingested microbes and also activate cytotoxic t cells to kill infected target cells.
