The pressure of a gas which occupies a volume of 5.0 L is calculated using P1V1=P2V2 formula
P1=10 atm
V1 = 20 L
V2= 5.0 l
P2 =?
P2 is therefore= P1V1/V2
P2= 10 atm x20 L/5.0l=
40atm
