Hello!
We can solve this algebraically
7 = p - 3/5(10p - 5)
Distribute the -3/5
7 = p - 6p + 3
Combine like terms
7 = 5p + 3
Subtract 3 from both sides
4 = 5p
Divide both sides by 5
4/5 = p
The answer is 4/5
Hope this helps!
