The final volume of the sample is calculate using boyles law formula
that is P1V1=P2V2
V1 = 240 ml
P1= 325 nmmhg
P2=550 mmhg
V2=?
from the formula above V2 = P1V1/P2
= 240ml x325mmhg /550 mmhg =
141.8 ml
