Hi there! 8 pounds equals 128 ounces. Answer A is correct.
In the number line we can see that 5.5 pounds equals 88 ounces.
Next we can find out the value of 1 pound by dividing by 5.5.
88 / 5.5 = 16
Therefore one pound equals 16 ounces.
Finally we need to multiply the value of 1 pound by 8 to find the value of 8 pounds.
16 × 8 = 128
Now we have our answer: 8 pounds equals 128 ounces. Answer A is correct.
