The first law of thermodynamics states that energy and can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed from one form into another form. Based on this law, since the refrigerator follows the first law of thermodynamics, the amount of energy removed from the food inside the refrigerator is 410 J. This is because, the refrigerator can only release into the room the energy it removed from the foods insider the refrigerator; it is the same energy that is been passed around, nothing is removed nothing is added.
