Write the equation in slope-intercept form of the line that has a slope of 3 and contains the point (2, 5).

the slope-intercept formula is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y- intercept so... x,y
y=3x+5 meaning that 2 is the x in this equation cuz (2,5). the x is the 2 and the 5 is the y in the coordinates.

Slope intercept form is y=mx+b. b is the y-intercept and m is the slope.

y=3x+5
